Kathy, I heard the news last night about Dan, and was shocked and greatly saddened! My thoughts and prayers are with you and Danny, and all of your extended family! I have very fond memories of Dan going back to my childhood in the early 1970's. Some of the best times we had were fishing with his old companion, Chuck McNerney. I loved listening to Dan and Chuck argue over whether or not professional golfers were actually athletes in the true sense of the word (Dan swore they were, Chuck swore they were not). Dan was always wonderful to me and my entire family and we will miss him tremendously. My heart goes out to Kathy and the rest of their family.
